Chain driven. Rolls on four rollers and has a teeter totter effect. The gate rests on two rollers as it moves. The size of the gate depends on the width of the driveway. For example, a 10 foot wide drive would need a 15 foot length of gate. A 16 foot length of cleared space would be necessary for the gate to open.

Swing Gate

These can be either single or dual leaf. It's very important that the gate is built so that it won't bend in the wind. The hinges are the most important part of this gate. Swing gates can be made out of any material.

Overhead Gate

These gates are usually best suited for large opening. They rest on an I-beam over the drive. The ability to withstand large gusts of wind is an important factor.

Barrier Gate

Barrier gates are quick open gates that are best suited to parking lots, toll booths and residential sites.
